Misc misc misc

EMI Canada are officially out of stock of the limited edition Broken Social Scene 2 Cd (plus EP) package of their recent album. EMI will be switching to a single disc version which is not expected to be available until the begining of December.

From CD to DVD

Updates Shmupdates

Beck is planning to release a remixed version of his latest hit album Guero. The list of possible collaborators include Dizzee Rascal, and the Beastie Boys . The remix project, titled Guerolito, should be out sometime this December.

(International) Noise Conspiracy will be doing a headlining tour with Nightmare Of You and These Arms Are Snakes next month.

Southern-fried scream-rock

What would happen if you crossed ZZ Top with Underoath? Why, it's Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, featuring former Underoath lead singer Dallas Taylor. It's twangy, driving rock with a screamo-twist. Think it sounds kitschy, or just don't believe it works? It does. The debut album drops next Tuesday, but you can check out some of the songs here.
